Matt Capps

Matthew Capps is an American former professional baseball relief pitcher. He is a 2002 graduate of Alexander High School in Douglasville, Georgia, where he lettered in football, basketball, cross-country and baseball before receiving a scholarship to Louisiana State University. He has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Washington Nationals and Minnesota Twins.

In 85 games during the 2006 season, Capps pitched a total of 80.2 innings, striking out 56 batters, while only allowing 81 hits and 37 runs, for an ERA of 3.79. Capps posted a team best 9–1 record out of the bullpen, while mixing in 13 holds and 1 save. He led all Major League rookie pitchers in appearances.

Blaine Boyer

Blaine Boyer is currently in his fifth year in the Royals front office, serving as a Special Assistant to Baseball Operations/Leadership Development. In his role, he works on special assignment projects throughout the organization.

Boyer retired as a player after the 2018 season. In his 12-year big league career, the right hander pitched for Atlanta

(2005-2009), St. Louis (2009), Arizona (2009), the Mets (2011), San Diego (2014), Minnesota (2015), Milwaukee (2016), Boston (2017) and Kansas City (2018). 

A native of Atlanta, Boyer resides in Alpharetta, Ga., with his wife, Ginsey and children, Levi, Benaiah and Mary Cora. 

Shane Robinson

Shane Robinson is currently the Outfield and Baserunning Coordinator for the New York Mets. Previously a coach in the San Diego Padres AA affiliate, Robinson ended his baseball career in 2020. In his 15 year professional career he played for the Cardinals (2006-2014), Twins (2015), Angels (2016-2017), Yankees (2018), Phillies (2019), Braves (2020). A native of Tampa, FL, Robinson attended Jesuit High School (1999-2003) and Florida State University (2004-2006). He currently resides in Alpharetta, GA with his wife, Jessica and his children, Tinley and Harper. 

Robinson won the World Series with the Cardinals in 2011. He was also named College Player of the Year in his sophomore year of college.

The student-athlete or parent submits information about various performance plateaus they want to overcome.
